cask character #6 mireille kious

our very own Mireille is our newest member of the cask leadership team and the obvious choice for our cask character of the week! a multilingual, creative, visionary executive with extensive experience in development, marketing and project management, Mireille is a transplant from Stockholm, Sweden via Venezuela, Spain and Australia she met her husband on a boat in Thailand and decided to make Cleveland her home, her husband’s hometown. after several years working for Siemens in Europe, she went on to acquire her Master’s Degree in Business Marketing from The University of Sydney.

since moving to Cleveland, she has worked in the non-profit arena serving the missions of human rights, cancer care, two schools and the Cleveland International Film Festival. she has become an expert in bringing people together and optimizing the use of resources to generate value to the business through an inclusive leadership style that inspires growth and fosters contribution. her proven skills at effectively leading and integrating multicultural settings, creating and establishing work processes and interacting with global leadership teams has positively impacted the missions of all organizations she has been a part of and makes her a very welcome addition to the cask leadership team. Mireille has served on numerous boards in the Cleveland community and cares very deeply for the future of her adopted home!
