Vision:

ABW aspires to increase public awareness of the drug and alcohol addiction epidemic in the community. The organization supports and conducts nonpartisan research, offering educational and informational activities to increase public awareness pertaining to the addiction crisis. In addition, we aim to increase behavioral health support and other critical care support of adult individuals post detox through strengthened and extended partnerships.

Mission:

Our mission is to provide high quality, personalized and evidence-based behavioral health services and recovery housing to adult individuals struggling with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders.

Programs:

ABW INC has provided Sober Housing and supportive services for over 3 years in Cuyahoga County. The organization plans to increase access to sober beds and support services. We work with multiple partner organizations by providing linkage to Medication Assisted Treatment. In conjunction with our partners, we work to increase Northern Ohio’s efforts to improve accessibility and effectiveness of treatment/housing and recovery support for adults who have an opiate use disorder or stimulant use, thereby facilitating sustained recovery. The project will provide: 1) Housing and general care 2) Linkages to clinical and therapeutic support such as mental health and behavioral health counseling, substance abuse treatment, 3) One-on-one mentoring 4) Linkage to Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT). ABW, INC has achieved a strong track record of success by utilizing the Social Model for recovery.
